Cherries picking

The weather forcast is good for this weekend.
We decided to go Cherry picking in Pease farm in Brentwood with some friends.
We left around 8:30 am, and arrived around 9:30 am.

It was not so crowded when we arrived.

10 lbs of cherries and 16 white peaches.

Memorial Day Weekend

It is a long weekend because of Memorial day.
On Sunday morning, we got some Chinese Dumplings from a friend.




We left home around 10 am to Sacramento. There was a small Taiwanese gatherings in Willam land Park which is also close to Sacramento Zoo.

Around 2 pm, we entered the Zoo.

Get ready for summer...

It was extremely hot this weekend. During the day, temperature is as high as 36 Degree Celsius.
Get the BBQ grill out and be ready for BBQ soon.

Fremont Kite Festival

We left home earlier for this event. It became really warm after 12 pm.
There are many people coming late. The turn out was quite good I guess.

There will be a new water park opened this summer. Maybe we will let Henry go there and play some water activites.

Two days trip

On 5/9/2009, we left Fremont CA around 10 am.
- Jelly Belly factory tour

- Lunch at Napa Premium Outlet

Just typical Chinese fast-food, food was a bit salty.

There is not enough time for wineries, we will plan it next time. Wineries are about 25 miles North West.

On 5/10/2009, we got up quite early around 7:30 am

Talk to a lady in the souvenirs store, she said there are still around 200 students in the high school.

- Around 12:30 pm, reach Zephyr Cove for Lake Tahoe Cruise, we took the MS Dixies II.















- Around 3:30 pm, heading home on Highway 50

Conclusion:
Time is always not enough. If we want to stop by all the points, I think this is better to be a 3-4 days trip.
